Join a seminar "Academic Publishing in Political Science: Concepts, Strategies, Audiences" by Prof. Kennan Ferguson, Fulbright Distinguished Scholar visiting at IPS FSV UK. The seminar takes place on 23 April 2026 from 12:30 in room C520 in the Jinonice Campus. It is aimed at PhD students and students of all institutes can attend.

How do you publish research in political science?  Kennan Ferguson has been the editor of a journal (Theory & Event), of a book series (Modernity and Political Thought), and coeditor of an eight-volume encyclopedia (Wiley Encyclopedia of Political Thought), as well as Chair of the editorial board of the University of Wisconsin Press.  In this presentation and extensive question-and-answer, you will discuss the dynamics, strategies, and audiences of publishing peer-reviewed work in politics, government, philosophy, and related fields.
