Instructions for the Examination Period of the Winter Semester of the Academic Year 2020/2021

1.      The following applies to the subjects the study assessment of which falls within the examination period of the winter semester of the academic year 2020/2021:

a.       Teachers pay attention to uniformity and ensure the capacity of terms involving the assessment of study of individual subjects, taking into account the possibilities and limitations of students in connection with the coronavirus pandemic and emergency measures announced by the government and ministries of the Czech Republic, or the Hygiene Station of the City of Prague or other relevant bodies.

b.      The number of distance terms of the assessment of study of individual subjects corresponds to the condition of uniformity and sufficient capacities according to Letter a) above (including consideration of possible different time zones), while at least one term of the subject’s assessment of study needs to be listed as a distance term. Directors may increase the mandatory number of distance terms by their decree or regulation.

c.       In the case of a distance alternative of the written test, it is recommended that it includes the following statement: “I hereby declare that I have completed the test without the assistance of third parties and without the use of materials other than those permitted in advance.”

d.      In case the terms of the subject’s assessment of study have been posted in both in-class and distance forms within the given subject, the guarantor of the subject will ensure a comparable complexity of the assessment’s performance.

2.      Other rights and obligations of students arising from the Study and Examination Regulations of Charles University and the Rules for the Organization of Studies at FSV UK, which are not further specified by this Measure, remain valid.

3.      This measure comes into force on 16 November 2020.
