Exchange Experience Competition – Win a tablet for sharing your experience!
Purpose of the Competition:
The goal of the competition is to motivate students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University (FSV UK), to share their experiences from study stays abroad via the Exchange Experience platform in the Moodle system, which is intended exclusively for FSV UK students. These contributions will serve as inspiration for other students who are considering going abroad.
Conditions for Participation:
Any student who has completed a study or traineeship abroad within the Erasmus+ programme or another international programme through the FSV International Office (OZS) may participate.
To enter the competition, participants must properly complete the Exchange Experience questionnaire in Moodle (a few sentences) during the period from September 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026. This is the deadline for submitting entries. The winner will be announced on February 17, 2026.
The mobility must have taken place between September 1, 2023, and January 31, 2026 (it does not have to be completed by this date).
Each student can enter the draw only once.
In order to be included in the competition, participants must also include their email address with their experience entry for identification purposes.
Students who are also employees of FSV / CU are not eligible to participate in the competition.
Competition Process:
After the deadline, completed questionnaires will be verified by the staff of the International Office (OZS).
A winner will be selected by drawing a name from an envelope containing valid entries.
The draw will take place in February 2026, with the announcement scheduled for February 17, 2026 (subject to change).
A written record of the draw will be made and archived along with the prize handover protocol.
Prize and Delivery:
The prize is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite WiFi 4GB/64GB + S Pen tablet.
The tablet will be handed over to the winner in person at the OZS office upon signing the handover protocol.
The winner will be notified by email.
Processing of Personal Data:
Personal data (faculty email address) will be processed solely for the purposes of entering the competition, conducting the draw, and awarding the prize. The data controller is FSV UK. After the prize is handed over, the data will be anonymized no later than 30 days afterward. Participants have the right to access, correct, and erase their personal data, as well as other rights under the GDPR.
Participation is free of charge, and the competition is not considered a game of chance under Act No. 186/2016 Coll., on Gambling.

Call for SYLFF scholarship program is open
The Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research (TKFD) SYLFF scholarship program call for 2026 has been announced. The offer is intended for students of doctoral programs in the social sciences or humanities and provides financial support for a period of up to two years for the preparation of a dissertation and other research activities. The application deadline is 30 April 2026. -
Program CENTRAL Leadership
Applications are now open for the CENTRAL Leadership program, which will take place from 30 August to 20 September 2026. The program is intended for Master's and doctoral students interested in politics, history and culture. Charles University is currently looking for five suitable candidates to participate in the program. Applications can be submitted until 31 March 2026. -
Summer Language Course at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf
Our partner institution, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, is opening applications for its Summer Language Course. The Faculty of Social Sciences will nominate one student to participate. The selected student will receive a scholarship directly from the partner university. Please upload all the required documents to the online application system by March 4, 2026. -
Call for Applications: The Future Leaders of Europe by Europaeum
Call for the Future Leaders of Europe: the Europaeum Scholars’ Programme by Europaeum is open. This is a two-year policy and leadership course for the most talented, energetic and committed doctoral candidates from within the Europaeum network. Entry is via open competition for around 30 places every other year. The application deadline is 23.59 GMT or 00.59 CET on Sunday, 15 March 2026. -
Call open for 4EU+ Cotutelle at Sorbonne University
A new call for applications for the 4EU+ Cotutelle program in collaboration with Sorbonne University has been announced, allowing doctoral students to have their dissertations under the joint supervision of two universities and thus obtain a double doctorate in cooperation with the partner universities of the 4EU+ Alliance. The deadline for submitting applications at Sorbonne University is February 20, 2026. -
Spring round of Mobility Fund applications is open
