Sports courses at FSV UK
FSV UK does not have its own department of sports and physical education; however you can sign up for sports courses organized by the Faculty of Arts or the Faculty of Law. They offer a large number of various sports ranging from group activities such as volleyball, basketball, floorball, squash or badminton to swimming, yoga, tai-chi, table tennis, zumba, rowing or bouldering.
What do the sports classes look like?
The sports courses are one semester long and usually only worth a few credits. In your SIS and your transcript, they will be counted as "Optional courses". Usually, there is no exam, and the course is only evaluated as "passed/failed" based on attendance.
The courses take place in various sport centers around Prague, so pay attention to the location when you're choosing.
Tip: Faculty of Arts also offers a few short intensive sport courses outside of Prague. These are usually five days long and consist of a skiing trip in Winter or hiking/cycling in the summer.

The registration is the same as for all other courses, in your SIS. You can only sign up for one course in the preliminary registration.
When you open the timetable under the link above and choose the sports course, write down the code of the course (for these courses, it will be ASZTV and a 4digit number).
Then, go to your "Subjects and schedule registration" module, choose "Enrollment (my own)" and fill the course code in the search bar. You will then be able to register for the course.
