Student ombudspeople elections will take place from 3 to 4 March 2026
After the submission of nominations, elections for the positions of student ombudspeople at the Institute of Economic Studies, Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism, and Institute of Sociological Studies will take place. The elections will take place online from 3 March 2026 at 9:00 am to 4 March 2026 at 3:00 pm. The ombudspeople at the other institutes are already known. -
Wellbeing Day on 12 March 2026 in Jinonice
In the morning of 12 March 2026, you can once again meet therapy dogs and enjoy a tasty breakfast prepared by student clubs in the foyer of building C in the Jinonice Campus. There will be table football you can play. -
Restrictions on the operation of the cloakroom in the Jinonice Campus
Due to the illness of one of the cloakroom staff, the operation of the cloakroom in Jinonice will be limited from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm until further notice. Thank you for your understanding. -

Change of the Jinonice Campus FSV UK Library opening hours
From the summer semester, i.e. starting February 16, 2026, the Jinonice Library is newly open from 8:00 am. It is now possible to make Study Rooms reservations starting from 8:00 am. Book reservations and orders will still be available for pickup from 9:00 am at the earliest. -
New system for booking consultations and office hours
On 16 February 2026, the previous applications for booking consultations and office hours at FSV UK were discontinued. The websites konzultace.fsv.cuni.cz and consultations.fsv.cuni.cz now combine an overview of consultations and office hours of individual employees in the Google calendar system. Consultations and office hours can be booked via the websites listed above, or via the link in the profile cards of individual employees.
