Announcement of the FSV UK Academic Senate elections for the 2027–2029 term
At its meeting on September 15, 2026, AS FSV UK announced—pursuant to Article 1 of the AS FSV UK Election Rules—that electronic elections for the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, for the 2027–2029 term would be held from November 24 to 26, 2026. AS FSV UK has set the period for submitting nominations for candidates to AS FSV UK from 9:00 a.m. on October 7, 2026, through 5:00 p.m. on November 13, 2026. -

Heidelberg University has published its list of shared courses for the 2026/27 winter semester. You can find the current course list on the Student Portal. Registration is open until September 25, 2026. -
Apply for student grants for the winter semester 2026
The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, announces the deadline for submitting applications for student grants for the winter semester of 2026. The deadline for applications is 5th of October 2026 at 23:59. The actual presentation will take place on 12th of October 2026 at 17:00. -

Mental Health Day on 8 October 2026 at the Jinonice Campus and in the Hollar and Opletalova Buildings
On Thursday, 8 October 2026, join us in the ground floor area of the Jinonice Campus for a morning dedicated to wellbeing. Enjoy a tasty breakfast prepared by student societies, play table football, plant a little something of your own and take part in a variety of activities. This time, you can meet our canine therapy team in the Hollar building. All students and staff are warmly welcome! -
