How to Apply
When to apply?
Admissions for the academic year 2025/26 will open on November 1st.
Early bird deadline: 28 February 2025
Regular deadline: 30 April 2025
Important note for visa-seeking students: Please read about the visa process carefully before applying. You are responsible for organizing your legal stay in Czechia and the visa application process can get quite lengthy. We therefore recommend that the visa-seeking students apply by the early-bird deadline.
HOW TO APPLY?
Applications are online only
1) Create an account on our application portal and start the application for your chosen program.
2) Fill in the application (see the guide below!). Upload all your attachments before you finalize your application. All the required attachments are listed below. Only complete applications will be considered. Always check the website of your chosen program; there may be program specific variations. All documents need to be translated to English or Czech. If you want to add other non-mandatory documents that you feel will strengthen your application, you can upload them in the "other" field of the application.
3) When you are happy with your application, don’t forget to click „Send“ to submit.
Personal data will be used exclusively for organizing the admission process and program enrolments.
In case you want to make changes to an already submitted application, please email us at admissions@fsv.cuni.cz - do NOT start another application for the same program! Duplicite applications cannot be accepted.
Multiple applications - you can apply to as many programs as you want, but you must submit a separate application for each.
Application fee
The application fee is 910 CZK (approx. 36 EUR). Applications without the fully paid application fee will not be considered.
The application fee must be paid in full either by card or via bank transfer. No cash payments are possible. You will find the payment instructions at the end of your online application form. The application fee has to be paid no later than the day of the deadline in order for the application to be assessed in the particular term.
There is no possibility of a fee waiver. The application fee is separate from the tuition fee; therefore, application fee must be paid even by the scholarship applicants.
When will you know your results?
All applications are evaluated by an admissions committee based on the submitted documents and materials. Successful applicants will be informed as soon as possible, within 3-4 weeks after the respective deadline.
