Call for the second round of SEED 4EU+ initiative

The 4EU+ Alliance announces the second round of the SEED 4EU+ initiative, which provides financial support for the implementation of innovative projects aimed at strengthening of cooperation between member universities, this time with a special emphasis on research activities. Academics from eight member 4EU+ universities can submit joint innovative proposals that will strengthen strategic alliance cooperation and involve other university communities in building One Comprehensive Research-Intensive European University.

• Target group: Researchers and academics with a PhD degree and above employed at one of the eight 4EU+ universities. Proposals must include participants from at least three 4EU+ member universities.
• Funding: Maximum 50,000 euros per project (financed directly from the budgets of 4EU+ member universities).
• Duration: Projects can last up to 12 months, with an estimated start date of 1 January 2025.
• Deadline for submitting proposals: 30 September 2024 (the Research Office deadline for submitting the project plan is 23 September 2024).
• Scope: The call is open to all academic disciplines, while proposals must thematically fit into at least one of the 4EU+ Flagships. Special emphasis is placed on proposals with a strong research focus.

Those interested in the call are encouraged to attend the online information session, which will be held on Friday, 21 June 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Registration is possible until 19 June .
