How to make senior citizens more resilient to manipulation and disinformation? How to combine tools and processes of fact-checking, debunking disinformation, and media literacy? And what is the role of students, journalists and media in this process?

The Language Centre FSV UK invites you to the discussion How to communicate with "biggest fake news spreaders" – myths and facts about senior citizens' relation to disinformation. The event takes place on Monday, November 28 2022 at 5 p.m. at Pekařská 16, room 301. 

You can look forward to Jaroslav Valůch, media education program manager at the news organization Transitions (TOL.org). Jaroslav is devoted to the field of using modern means of communication in crisis situations, fact-checking, strengthening media literacy and preventing hate violence.
