Opletalova library is now accessible to FSV UK students even when the librarian is not there. Just come between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. and scan your student card to open it. In the library and associated study room, you will find study spaces, a calm and inspiring environment, as well as a self-service copier in MyQ mode.

With the beginning of the new academic year, the National Library of Technology (NTK) in Prague is offering its traditional webinars for students, PhD students, and early career researchers. These free webinars cover a variety of topics in the area of transferable skills, such as navigating academic resources, writing scientific articles at the beginner level, and a basic introduction to research data management.

Changes await the Hollar building. This year we are modifying interiors for PhD students. In the coming years, the plan is to move the Dean's office to the Jinonice campus. This opens up an opportunity to discuss new uses for Hollar. Fill in the survey, which was created at the initiative of the Academic Senate of FSV UK.

FSV UK will participate in the new Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in European Environmental Economics and Policy (M3EP). The programme is a collaborative consortium consisting of five 4EU+ universities. Call for student applications will open on 15 November 2024.

The Charles University Grant Agency (GAUK) has announced a call for 2025. Projects for 1-3 years can be submitted by MA and PhD students in the standard period of study. Webinar for applicants takes place on 4 October 2024 at 2 p.m. Faculty deadline for proposal submission is 31 October 2024.
