The Dean’s office is the executive apparatus of the Faculty in economic and administrative matters.

The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

  • Webinars by CU Point for international students

    CU Point prepared two useful online webinars for international students: Working While Studying in the Czech Republic: Ask a Lawyer! is for all international students and Integration Course Welcome to the Czech Republic is for students from non-EU countries.

  • Future Choice initiative

    “Future CHOICE” is a new initiative aiming to support a new generation of China professionals in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). A part of the initiative is also a series of online mentoring meetings focused on developing the skills of young professionals. The first and introductory meeting will take place on October 19, 2021, with the future of Chinese studies as the main topic.

  • The Institutes have elected student ombudsmen

    We know the results of the election of student ombudsmen for 2021/2022. Ombudsmen for the individual Institutes are Viktorija Pasichnyk (IES), Marcel Faltys (ICSJ), Tomáš Čevela (IMS), Jan Volenec (IPS) a Julie Hlaváčová (ISS).

  • Tomáš Karásek was elected candidate for the Dean of FSV UK

    Today, Tomáš Karásek, the current Vice-Dean for Development and Head of the Department of Security Studies at the Institute of Political Studies, was elected candidate for the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences for the 2022-2026 election period.

  • Call for exchanges in Winter Semester 2022/2023

    Call for exchanges in Winter Semester 2022/2023 will be open from 8 to 31 October 2021. You can apply for stays through inter-faculty and inter-university agreements.
