At its meeting on 8 October 2024, the FSV UK Academic Senate announced elections to the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University for the term of office 2025–2027. It also announced the date of elections to the Academic Senate of Charles University for the term of office 2025-2028. Both elections will take place electronically from November 26 to November 28, 2024.

With the beginning of the new academic year, the National Library of Technology (NTK) in Prague is offering its traditional webinars for students, PhD students, and early career researchers. These free webinars cover a variety of topics in the area of transferable skills, such as navigating academic resources, writing scientific articles at the beginner level, and a basic introduction to research data management.

Changes await the Hollar building. This year we are modifying interiors for PhD students. In the coming years, the plan is to move the Dean's office to the Jinonice campus.
