Working Group for genAI
Working Group for GenAI
The working group is dedicated to the use of generative AI in academia: education and dissemination of good practice, institutional recommendations and rules, and organizing discussions.
Vision:
We want FSV UK to use generative AI in an informed and responsible way in teaching, research and the running of the faculty and, as a social science faculty, to contribute to the public debate on its impact on society. We build on the university's AI policy and, through the faculty's membership in prg.ai, we connect the faculty with the AI community.
Areas of activity:
- Teaching and assessment - innovation in teaching and clear rules for the use of AI in courses, including limits on the use of AI in assessing students (AI Act, GDPR).
- Support for students and staff - the group's page as a starting point for staff, the library page for students, and a range of external and internal training.
- Rules and data - a regular survey of students and teachers and cooperation with the university working group on generative AI.
- Research and public debate - a map of AI-related research topics and projects at the faculty, cooperation within prg.ai and an annual public event.
The group is open to new members, who can contact the head of the working group.
