International Conference "1989 – 2019: Thirty years of Czech-American Relations"
The Department of North American Studies (Institute of International Studies FSV UK) together with New York University Prague and The Forum 2000 Foundation cordially invite you to the international conference "1989 – 2019: Thirty years of Czech-American Relations" which will be held on Friday 1st November 2019 (9:00 AM - 2:30 PM) at Baroque Refectory of the Dominican Monastery (Jilská street 7a, Prague, Old Town).
Keynote Speech will be delivered by Jeffrey Gedmin, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of The American Interest in Washington, D.C.
Our Czech and U.S. panelists include Ambassador Alexandr Vondra (MEP) and Michael Žantovský (President of Václav Havel Library), Jamie Fly (President of RFE/RL), Mary Thompson-Jones (former Charge d’Affaires of U.S. Embassy in the Czech Republic), John Glenn (U.S. Global Leadership Coalition), Josef Zieleniec (former Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs), Jolyon Naegele (former VOA Central Europe correspondent) and others.
