New 4EU+ joint master’s programme at FSV UK
FSV UK will participate in the new Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in European Environmental Economics and Policy – a world-class programme that offers the exciting opportunity to study at different 4EU+ universities.
The 4EU+ University Alliance is proud to announce that the master’s degree programme in European Environmental Economics and Policy (M3EP) has been selected under the European Union's 2024 call for Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programmes. This recognition highlights the programme’s academic excellence and its relevance to addressing Europe's environmental and climate challenges.
The M3EP programme is a collaborative consortium consisting of five 4EU+ universities: University of Copenhagen, Heidelberg University, University of Milan, Charles University and University of Warsaw.
The programme offers an interdisciplinary approach that will give students state-of-the-art knowledge, skills and qualifications in both environmental economics and political science. Combined with a strong applied focus on contemporary European environmental policy, the programme will prepare graduates to effectively take on one of the most complex and urgent policy challenges that the EU and its member states face in the 21st century: The green transition.
Programme structure:
- The first year of study will take place at the University of Copenhagen – providing students a set of core competences in both environmental economics, policy, and politics, and with a solid understanding of the European policy context.
- For the second year, students must choose to complete their studies at one of the four partner universities: Heidelberg University, University of Milan, Charles University or University of Warsaw, each offering a unique perspective and specialisation in environmental economics or environmental policy and politics.
As part of the 4EU+ Alliance, this Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s programme fosters international collaboration and aims to contribute to solving some of Europe’s most urgent environmental challenges through a shared academic vision and expertise.
Applicants can apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship of EUR 1,400 per month for the full two-year programme.
Call for student applications will open on 15 November 2024.
