Unauthorized access to the database konzultace.fsv.cuni.cz

On Friday, May 12, the konzultace.fsv.cuni.cz database was deleted. This was most likely due to an attack using the access rights. The database was restored from backup on Monday, May 15, and is now fully operational. At the same time, several security measures have been adopted and more are planned.

Unauthorized access to the database may have resulted in the leakage of some personal data of database users, namely the person's name, surname, title, faculty e-mail address and university number. Access rights to university and faculty systems cannot be breached as a result of this incident, however there may be an increase in spam.
