This year, a sustainability working group was created at FSV UK. Its aim is to support sustainability of our faculty. Therefore we join European Sustainable Development Week with the program by FSV UK student clubs. The events will take place from 2 to 5 October 2023 in Jinonice Campus and Hollar building.

As one of the outcomes of our Mistra research project, Nico Carpentier (Department of Media Studies) is curating (together with Daniel Urey and Emilia Rosenqvist) the exhibition Moulding Nature – Discursive Struggles Over the Environment at Fargfabriken arts center in Stockholm. The exhibition runs from 26 August to 26 November.

FSV UK students are collectively researching a queer safe space, what it looks like, where it begins and where it ends, or what prevents its creation. The exhibition takes place in cooperation with Prague Pride, but you can visit it even after the end of the festival until the end of August, every weekday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

On September 12, 2023, the 8th year of the Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic international competition will take place in the premises of the National Technical Library. The aim of the competition is to bring together the future generation of great scientists and innovators and come up with a breathtaking idea - a scientific project, business plan or social initiative that break down all walls and barriers.
