Erasmus+ short-term PhD mobility
Prostřednictvím programu Erasmus+ mohou doktorandi uskutečňovat krátkodobé fyzické mobility za účelem studia či stáže v zahraničí. Na mobility je možné vyjíždět i během letních měsíců. O stipendium je nutné žádat nejméně měsíc před plánovaným výjezdem. -
Open science courses
We invite doctoral students and early-career researchers to attend courses in the field of Open Science organized by the Postdoctoral Platform of Charles University. On April 2, 2025, there will be a course on Research Data Management, and on May 14, 2025, a course focusing on Citizen Science will take place. Registration for the courses is required via the CU Educational Portal. -
Apply for accommodation at Hlávka dormitory for AY 2025/26
In the next academic year 2025/2026, the Foundation "Endowment of Josef, Marie and Zdeňka Hlávka" will provide partial reimbursement of the dormitory fees at Hlávka Dormitory for students in a difficult financial situation who achieve excellent academic or scientific results. -
The first phase of the Hollar building renovation and modernization is complete. We are opening the new Hollar Student Zone
After extensive reconstruction and modernization of the former library at Hollar, the Hollar Student Zone is now open to students, offering expanded facilities for study and relaxation. We cordially invite you to its opening, which will take place on Wednesday, 5 March 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the presence of the FSV UK Dean, Tomáš Karásek, and the Director of the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism, Jakub Končelík. -

You can look forward to a CV workshop, a Czech labour law lecture, 3 companies recruiting, career counseling or a photographer who can take a professional photo for your CV. Some parts of the program require registration.
