The Dean’s office is the executive apparatus of the Faculty in economic and administrative matters.

The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

  • Acta Politologica Call for Abstracts

    Acta Politologica invites authors to submit abstracts for a Special Issue dedicated to the political milieu and political consequences of generative AI. If you are interested in contributing to this Special Issue, please submit an abstract of your intended article (250–500 words) to the editors at acpo@fsv.cuni.cz no later than 15th June, 2025.
  • Open science courses

    We invite doctoral students and early-career researchers to attend courses in the field of Open Science organized by the Postdoctoral Platform of Charles University. On April 2, 2025, there will be a course on Research Data Management, and on May 14, 2025, a course focusing on Citizen Science will take place. Registration for the courses is required via the CU Educational Portal.

  • Science at FSV UK: Bohumil Doboš about his research on the geopolitics of space and the political power in sub-Saharan Africa

    Read an interview with Bohumil Doboš from the Institute of Political Studies on the FSV UK science website. He is recognized as one of the Czech leading experts on space security or African politics, recently successfully completed his habilitation procedure and is already planning further research trips to Africa.
  • 4EU+ Visiting Professorship Call

    As part of its long-term commitment to foster collaboration in research and teaching, the 4EU+ European University Alliance is launching the third round of the 4EU+ Visiting Professorships initiative. Informational online meeting takes place on 25 March 225 at noon.
  • Joint Seed Call with University of St Andrews is open

    Another Joint Seed call was announced with the University of St Andrews, a strategic partner of Charles University. The call for proposals for joint initiatives between UK and UoStA aims to facilitate cooperation within our strategic goals. Deadline for submission of proposals is May 12, 2025.
