The Dean’s office is the executive apparatus of the Faculty in economic and administrative matters.

The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

  • Third year of the international FSV UK staff week on well-being at universities

    In the week from 3 to 7 June 2024, the FSV International Office team organized an international Erasmus+ staff week for representatives of partner universities on the topic of Well-being of students and staff. International staff week is organized by the International Office of the faculty for the third year.

  • FSV UK library summer opening hours

    In July 2024, all library branches will be closed. On the days when the Jinonice library is closed, the night study room will be open from 9:00 a.m. to midnight. The Jinonice library will reopen on 6 August. The library in Opletalova will remain closed during the summer months. Hollar Library is closed for renovations. All books borrowed after 1 June are automatically extended until 2 September.

  • Acta Politologica Call for Abstracts: Political Trust, New Cleavages, and Political Polarization

    The international journal Acta Politologica invites submissions of manuscripts covering various issues related to the Political Trust, New Cleavages, and Political Polarization. If you are interested in publishing in the Special Issue, please submit the abstract of your intended article to the editors (acpo@fsv.cuni.cz) in the range of 250 to 500 words no later than September 15, 2024.

  • June party for FSV UK employees

    We cordially invite FSV UK employees and their families to the FSV UK June Party, which will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the premises of the Start Sports Club on Střelecký ostrov.

  • Sorting of bio-waste at FSV UK

    Students and employees of FSV UK now have the opportunity to sort bio-waste. At the initiative of the faculty Sustainability Working Group, a new rotating two-chamber compost bin has been placed in the Jinonice Campus between buildings B and C. It enables bio-waste processing into a nutritious compost that can be used as a source of nutrients for plants at the faculty and in the surrounding area.
