FSV UK had two new professors

On November 27, 2023, the President of the Republic, Petr Pavel, on the proposal of the scientific and artistic councils of universities, signed the appointment decrees of new university professors. And fifteen days later - on December 12, 2023, together with Minister Mikuláš Bek, he personally presented the decrees to them in the Great Hall of Karolina. Of the seventy-two appointed professors, a total of twenty-seven personalities from Charles University received the professorial decree, including two new professors from the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The new professors of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University with effect from November 29, 2023, taking over the appointment decrees on December 12, 2023, are:

• prof. PhDr. Ing. Antonie Doležalová, Ph.D. from the Institute of Economic Studies FSV UK, in the field of modern history
• prof. PhDr. Kateřina Králová, Ph.D. from the Institute of International Studies FSV UK, in the field of modern history
