FSV UK student Mgr. Martina Hrušková received the Josef Hlávka Award
MA graduate and student of doctoral program Public and Social Policy at FSV UK Mgr. Martina Hrušková received the Josef Hlávka Award. Congratulations!
Her diploma thesis deals with a current problem, which concerns the prudent and sustainable procurement of public contracts in a typical country of the Central and Eastern European region of the EU. The given problem was solved by a graduate through the case of the Slovak Republic. It is based on her own research in the municipalities of the Slovak Republic, as well as on research by large contractors, and uses expert interviews. The obtained results have a scientific value that goes beyond the scope of the thesis.
The award was presented on November 16, 2023 at the Josef Hlávka chateau in Lužany u Přeštic.
The oldest Czech foundation, the Josef, Marie and Zdenka Hlávka Foundation, was founded by Josef Hlávka in 1904. Since then, through the awarding of the Josef Hlávka Awards, it supports excellent students and graduates of Prague public universities, Brno University of Technology and young talented researchers of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
