Irena Kalhousová received Miloslav Petrusek Prize for Presentation and Promotion of CU
During the ceremony commemorating the 676th anniversary of the founding of Charles University, the Rector Milena Králíčková awarded the Miloslav Petrusek Prize for Presentation and Promotion.
Dr. Irena Kalhousová, Director of the Herzl Centre for Israeli Studies at Charles University, received the prize for her long-term development of the third pillar of the university through her activities in the media, participation in public discussions and lecturing activities in high schools.
The podcast studio at Kampus Hybernská and Filip Liška, ICSJ FSV UK graduate, received the prize for supporting student popularisation activities and its development.
Originally known as the Presentation Award, it was first awarded at Charles University in 2007. Six years later, it was named after the Dean Emeritus of FSV UK and the Vice-rector Emeritus of the CU as the Miloslav Petrusek Award for Presentation. In 2022, the status of the award was modified and the Miloslav Petrusek Award for Representation and Promotion was established. The award is given annually for a positive achievement that has a significant impact on creating a positive image of the perception of the CU in the general public and that significantly fulfills the "third role" of the university.
Congratulations to the awarded!
