On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at a meeting of the Academic Senate of FSV UK, Tomáš Karásek, the current dean of the faculty, was elected as the candidate for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences for the 2026–2030 term. The Dean has to be appointed by the Rector.

On the occasion of the bicentenary of the Declaration of Independence of Uruguay, we invite you to a dialogue on geopolitics, international relations, sustainability, trade and cooperation between Europe and Uruguay from a historical and contemporary perspective. The conference will take place on 14 October 2025 from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm at Voršilská 1. The language of the meeting is Spanish.
