Institute of Economic Studies (IES)
The institute offers university education in economics, finance, banking, European economic integration and economic policy at all levels. Soon after its establishment in 1993, IES became one of the Czech Republic’s most prestigious economic teaching and research centres. IES is unique in its international character (for example, an overwhelming majority of Master’s courses are offered in English) and in the number of leading Czech economists and policy-makers who teach in the Institute. IES offers top-class economics education in the Czech Republic based on mathematical preparation, modern economic theory and their application in the field of finance, banking, monetary policy, economic regulation and public finance.

Graduates
Graduates of the Institute of Economic Studies aim for positions as analysts in major consulting, banking and financial companies, including McKinsey, Deloitte, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Citibank, Erste, etc., in central banks, in international institutions, or further study at leading world universities, e.g. in London School of Economics, Oxford, Cambridge, Chicago, Yale, Cornell or Johns Hopkins.
