Institute of Political Studies (IPS)

The Institute of Political Studies (IPS) was established in 1993 as a workplace covering political studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences. IPS develops scholarly activity in political science and international relations, particularly focusing on general political science, political philosophy, comparative political science, political geography and geopolitics; on the general issue and theory of international relations, the history of international relations and on questions of the current development of Europe and the process of European integration.

Graduates

Graduates of the Institute of Political Studies can work in diplomacy (primarily in institutions at the level of the European Union), in public administration, in governmental and non-governmental organizations (spokespersons of ministries or various institutions) or as commentators in the media and political analysts focusing on both domestic issues, and international politics.
