ERASMUS + is an EU exchange programme which has been running since the mid-1980s. The Czech Republic has been participating since 1997. The mobilities are performed on the basis of bilateral agreements signed with partner universities.

If a student comes from a disadvantaged socio-economic environment, it is possible to raise the scholarship by 200 euros/month. The application must be submitted at the European Office of the Rectorate of Charles University.  

Students with special needs can also ask for an increase of the scholarship.

Practical and graduate placements (traineeships) provide students with another opportunity to travel abroad within Erasmus+ programmes.
